Handle batteries with care

Did you know that a battery that is damaged or used incorrectly can be dangerous? It could leak corrosive chemicals and, in extreme cases, even explode or cause a fire. For this reason, it's important never to let children handle batteries unsupervised - they may accidentally damage them. If you have a damaged battery, leave it for recycling, exactly as you do with all batteries. Even if they - like all our batteries - don't contain toxic heavy metals.

Treat your batteries right

Batteries are perishable and keep best stored in a cool, dry place. When an electrical devise becomes sluggish, you should change all its batteries at the same time for the best result. If you mix new batteries with old there's also a risk for leakage and heat build-up. If you will not be using a device for some time, remove the batteries to avoid any risk of leakage.
