IKEA for Business has furnished a three-room apartment spread across two floors in Tartu. The result is a soft-spoken and welcoming home, filled with beiges, whites, and wood tones, and gentle touches of green from both décor and vibrant houseplants.

Plenty of space for everybody

The open and airy living room flows seamlessly into the kitchen and dining area, creating a spacious and inviting atmosphere. At its heart is a creamy-toned JÄTTEBO modular sofa – perfect for those cosy late-night lounges with the whole family. A touch of colour is added with the carpet, which is soft enough to sink your toes into.

Living room

Cooking with character

The perfectly-big-enough kitchen is minimalist in design and offers ample space for all the cooking essentials. The real stars of the space are the HAMNFYR ceiling lamps, which interior designer Heily picked to bring in some playfulness and visual interest. The light-toned kitchen opens up to the dining area, where TOSSBERG chairs add a cosy touch – and can double as extra seating in the living room.

A cosy oasis

From a comfy double bed and soft, fluffy carpet to two spacious chests of drawers for necessary storage, the second-floor bedroom has everything you need for a good night’s sleep. The DEJSA table lamp ties in beautifully with the apartment’s colour scheme and adds a cosy, soft glow – especially welcome as the evenings start to get darker.

Comfy, green, and study-ready

Pops of green are also present in the children’s room, complementing the beige and wood-toned furniture. The white-stained oak veneer FJÄLLBERGET chair is a definite eye-catcher, and its ergonomic design ensures a comfortable sitting position for any body height, making it perfect for long study sessions.

Mirror, mirror on the wardrobe

The PAX series is a crowd favourite for a reason – and the interior designer has used it in the small hallway, which lacked both space and storage. Instead of traditional doors, the PAX wardrobe is fitted with mirror glass doors to make the space feel visually larger (and it’s perfect for a quick, last-minute outfit check).
