Handmade with love and care

TÅNUM rugs are made with leftover fabric from our bed linen production. Skilled craftspeople then transform these bits and pieces into unique rugs. And because we’ve approved the factories ourselves, we know that the working conditions are good. So there are a lot of winners when you buy a TÅNUM rug – you, us, the environment and the skilled weavers in Bangladesh.

Environment

Renewable material (cotton). All the cotton in our products comes from more sustainable sources. This means that the cotton is either recycled, or grown with less water, less fertilisers and less pesticides, while increasing profit margins for the farmers. By using leftover cotton from textile production in this product, we consume less new raw materials and reduce our climate impact.
