Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.

They say that children make the world go round. This time IKEA will be visiting a happy family of four. For a long time, they were only a family of three, but were recently joined by the newest member – a little ray of sunshine named Alīna. The decision to welcome another child in the family was taken already some time ago, but the possibility for that arose unexpectedly so the room had to be prepared within a couple of days.
